Rebecca is the Senior Evaluation Specialist at Food Insight Group, focused on project management, policy work, process evaluation, and schools and early care & education (ECE). Her experience and passions span both facilitation of systems change and local engagement, including advocating for urban agriculture, launching composting programs, and leading school-based data and policy work. Prior to joining Food Insight Group, she was a strategist for local government in Washington, DC, focused on public health and the well-being of public school students throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Nationally, she has served as an evaluator for the USDA’s Rural Child Poverty Nutrition Center, to uplift local solutions to healthy food access in rural communities. Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Agriculture, Food, and Environment from Tufts University and is a certified Master Gardener.
