Rebecca Harnik, MS
Rebecca is the Program Director at Food Insight Group, centering team leadership, project management and facilitation, administration, and communications. Her experience and passions span both facilitation of systems change and local engagement, including leading school-focused data and policy work, advocating for urban agriculture, and launching composting programs. Prior to joining Food Insight Group, she was a strategist for local government in Washington, DC, focused on public health and the well-being of public school students throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Nationally, she has served as an evaluator for the USDA’s Rural Child Poverty Nutrition Center, to uplift local solutions to healthy food access in rural communities. Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Agriculture, Food, and Environment from Tufts University and is a certified Master Gardener.
